Michael Locati, violin, studied at the St. Louis Conservatory of Music as a student of Taras Gabora and later at Rutgers University with Arnold Steinhardt and Michael Tree (viola studies) . He holds a Masters of Music degree from Rutgers University and has performed extensively on the east coast both as a soloist and chamber musician. He is a founding member of the Lukens Piano Trio and the Tristan String Quartet and has served on the faculty of Moravian College. In addition to his musical life, Michael is founder and co-owner of Locati LLC, a boutique auction company that specializes in antiques, fine art and jewelry and is located in the heart of Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
